菸樓
烘烤百年風味─菸樓
菸樓是菸草從翠綠肥厚變成黃金輕薄的乾燥室，也是六堆菸農製菸程序中最艱辛的過程，更是菸草王國留下的輝煌史跡。園區的菸樓來自屏東縣高樹鄉梁堃和先生的無私捐贈，此傳統大阪式菸樓建造於民國50年，出自梁堃和先生的雙親─梁連定與廖輝妹之手，在歷經一代傳承，近20年的烘烤歲月，最終於民國71年新式烤菸機的引進之下，逐漸成為閒置空間。民國98年，梁堃和先生決定將菸樓捐出，並於同年整體搬遷至六堆客家文化園區。
菸樓展示館《百年菸樓─記憶燻烤》展覽，以菸田少年─阿堃牯的故事為軸線，述說昔日種菸人家辛勞又溫馨的菸葉農事生活。
菸樓－菸葉乾燥室
菸樓在型式上大致分為「大阪式」與「廣島式」兩種，其功能相同，外型相似，唯天窗式樣略有不同，主要在於考量外在天候環境的影響；台灣菸樓多以大阪式為主，六堆園區菸樓展示館即為傳統大阪式菸樓，內部典藏展示之「菸葉乾燥室」，指的是菸樓中央部份的建築本體，也就是用土磚疊砌，內有聯架，上方有小屋頂的烤菸空間，菸農稱其為「本灶」。
