【Taiwan Hall Announcement】‘Recruitment and Training for the 5th Volunteering Work at Taiwan Hakka Museum’ is open for application!

* Recruitment target

  1. Nationals of the Republic of China who are over 15 years old, with a high level of service and enthusiasm, and are willing to interact with the crowd. Adolescents under the age of 18 must have a parent (legal guardian) to sign the consent form.
  2. Interested in Hakka history and culture, and are willing to participate in the service work of Taiwan Hakka Museum with dedication and loyalty to service duties, and can participate in training courses and rotation arrangements. Service period shall last at least a year.

 

* Service content

  1. Assist in visitor services, guided tours, educational activities, library materials services and other related fields of the Museum.
  2. Assist in visiting of the public to deal with various situations, such as answering people’s consultations and guiding direction of visits.
  3. Support manpower needs of various activities in the Museum.
  4. Willing to contact with the crowd, and is willing to work with other volunteer divisions to complete given tasks.

 

* Opening hours

  1. The Museum is open from Wednesday to Monday (closed on Tuesdays) 09:00-17:00, volunteer duty hours are divided as the morning section: 09:00-13:00 and the afternoon section: 13:00-17:00.
  2. Volunteer must serve at least 12 hours every two months.

  2. In person: Please visit Information Desk No. 4 at Taiwan Hakka Museum to fill in your application form in person.
