“Away from home, fly high, Run Liudui” Liudui Baseball Exhibition
Baseball has almost 90 years of history in Liudui. Some baseball-elite school like Meiho Senior High School was the 11 times champion of Taiwan Teenage Baseball Championship and the 9 times champion of World Teenage Baseball Championship from 1960s to 1980s. They made a glory remark on Taiwanese baseball history. The “Away from home, fly high, Run Liudui ”Liudui Baseball Exhibition will last for a year, and it will present everyone the Liudui Hakka traditional character “United”. This character is just the same as baseball, emphasizes teamwork spirit. With sweat, resolution and hard training, the glory is forged in Liudui. This exhibition presents the first 3D baseball field in Taiwan. Baseball lovers can jump up to the pitcher mound and deal with the batter directly. We also use LEGO to create a 1m X 1m dried Mino Lake model to recreate the scene that children practiced baseball on Mino Lake 50 years ago.
